The Technology Innovation Agency (TIA) is an initiative of the Department of Science & Technology mandated to enable and support technological innovation across all sectors of the economy in order to achieve socio-economic benefits for South Africa and enhance its global competitiveness. TIA mobilizes and provides financial and non-financial support across broad technology areas in various sectors of the economy.
