Anand Rangachary, Managing Director of Frost & Sullivan's business in South
Asia, Middle East and North Africa has been one of the key architects of the
firm’s consulting practice in the region. Anand’s focus is towards fostering
Frost & Sullivan’s growth in the region, specifically in emerging technology
markets. Anand joined Frost & Sullivan in 1999, when it started operations in
South India by establishing an office in Chennai. Since then he has been
involved in diverse activities, having responsibilities such as project
management, business development and strategy consulting for clients across
diverse verticals.
Anand has been associated with numerous client-specific engagements related to
M&As, strategy development, portfolio analysis, distribution channel management,
etc. Anand has also been responsible for setting up a 450-people strong
knowledge center in India that supports Frost & Sullivan’s offices world-wide on
various business processes and functions. He has been a speaker at various
leading conferences/seminars on growth issues across industry sectors spanning
IT/Telecom, Automotive, Chemicals, Semiconductors and other B-2-B verticals.
